Today Eli started Pre-K. This was a super hard decision for me and today I finally felt at peace. There were no tears. He was excited and I was excited for him! I drew a special heart on his hand so he knew my love would be there and then I turned around and walked out. Kelly picked him up (which he does not understand since all the other mothers came to get their kids) and he was full of smiles. He said he only had to use my heart once when he felt shy and that there was a Nerf football on the playground. Well it seems all is right with the world!
