Early Spring 2013

We headed to Panama City for Spring Break.  It was a fun week even though I was a goober and got burned the first day.  The tour of Tallahassee was fun and ALMOST convinced us to leave the most awesome state of Georgia.
Mary said my hat was tacky....

We got home on Saturday just in time for the community yard sale...I kinda sold all our furniture.
And....we ended up hitting up Rooms to Go for some super cheap crap..I mean furniture for the downstairs.  The kids learned a great lesson in cash shopping.
 A rare moment of kindness.
Little man needed a cut and I gave the go ahead for the buzz....never again.

I bought some over priced jeans.

Little one and I went to see Disney on Ice.  He was in love!

We dyed 24 pairs of socks for market day.

April and May of 2013

Spring brought baseball.  Buzz discovered catcher and it stuck. He loved it!  He is now in some serious love with baseball.  We are hoping to play for Coach Joe again this spring.

Easter dinner was spent at the Howard home.  Three generations of Emanuel girls.

Mary and I snuck out one night at hit the prom dresses at Jcpenny.  What fun!  So much more fun knowing she won't be going any time soon!
Eli turned 7!  Dad took him and Jared to a Gwinnett Braves game.
Brady turned 4.  He had his party at Monkey Joe's Bounce house this year.

A bit out of order...our Easter at home.  We go to 6 am service.  So it makes for an early morning.

Ok...I am going to try.

I guess I will start with today.  Brady joined me at school and decided he needed to reach out and touch someone so he started texting people.  He even sent pictures of himself incase you were at anyway confused who was texting you gibberish followed by a simply text saying "Brady".  And if that was not enough to get you to want to text him back he then called you and asked why you had not responded to his texts.  Kids today!
After letting me finish lining my board with tape we headed to the bookfair.  It is not often I only have one child with me at a time so we were excited to spend some one on one time.  Of course as soon as he arrived he wanted the $20 book that came with a toy.  We sat down and read a few together and I once again told him no to every book with toy he could find.  He settled on a Disney book all about the different characters and we headed home.

As we headed home I had an important phone call to make...I talked and talked and as I hung up went to tell Bray thank you so much for being quiet...you see this child is NEVER quiet!  He talks from the time he wakes up to well after he is put in bed!  AND MOST OF HIS TALKING IS QUESTIONS!  Anyway I had to laugh as I bragged on what a great job he had done I realized he was quiet because he was sound asleep.

I hope to continue blogging... it will be the only way to keep a record of our crazy lives.  This fall has brought baseball, cheer, awanas, youth, and not a moment of free time!  Here are some of my favorites from the past few months!
After a long and yucky summer I was actually happy to see fall come into our lives!

First day of school!  Just me and 3 at DES this year!

Family Sunday at the pool.  Yeah... you try to get a picture of 4 kids all smiling at the same time...

We made it a year on one car!  I know shocking!  Anyway.  The end of August brought us our little black car!  It is a 5 speed and I am happy to say I hop less and less each day!  AND...it fills up for like $35!
Give me a M!  Give me a C!  Give me a MC BABY!  Yep!  Cheer started and so did the rain.  Hot shot little one went over to firt with the girls who had umbrellas!  What am I going to do with this one!
Awanas begins with a declaration of marriage from Addison to Brady.
Girls Night!  Yep, won't live this one down for a while!  At least I can say I didn't watch the show and I have the best hubby in the world and last Jess will never doubt the phrase" MY JEANS ARE TO TIGHT!"

And.....baseball begins!  I do love this boy in his catcher gear!  Coach said he went in the 2nd round of the draft!  WOW!  We are in for it!
Church gave out tshirts!  #1 and I are just like college kids...we love us some free t-shirts!  We also love our church!
Yep, the girl turned 12!  Can you believe it!  I thank God daily she is mine and I could not be prouder of her!  It was also hard to see her 12 and think of myself at that age.
Can you say Pre-K!  Oh...poor #4!  Started pre-k and had to understand that school is not like Vegas...what happens there does not stay there. Can you say YELLOW on the 2ND DAY!
Found this in #3 bookbag.....enough said.
After this summer I decided I would never put my family through what I went through...if I could help it.  Little did I know this funny pic turned into a scare.  Now 3 doctor visits later I am happy to say I am cancer free but it sure did put everything in my life in perspective.
Family day at the Decatur Book Festival.  One of my best friends from high school wrote a book and we all went to watch her speak.  Super proud of her and even more proud of us for being friends going on 26 years....pretty cool since I am like 30 right.  :)
Dead Daisy!  Ok, really it is Yellow Daisy but all the more exciting since the Glovers came to stay with us and joined us for the trip to the mountain.  It was fun as always and hurried as always.  I am not sure how we would feel if we weren't constantly rushing to head back.
Brady and Amelia had the most fun.  They were my dates for Friday night.  Ultimate snuggles!  We do love us some Glover girls!
The boy playing in his uniform!  23 just like his daddy.
The ladies and I closed down the pool!  Next year I plan on spending at least 3 days a week here!
I dyed my hair black...I know...no one is surprised.  After washing with dish soap AND baking soda MULTIPLE times it has started to lighen up.  This is my hubby helping me add glaze so I wouldn't scare my parents at conferences.
Just gotta love it!  If only they made him listen better....
#3 found a new best friend Logan.  They are now running the halls every afternoon....and morning.
The girl and I headed to Duluth Days.  It was awesome and cost way to much money!  Send two girls to an place that sells monogrammed items and broke is a natural occurance.

Little boys picked out their costumes at Costco.  I was simply excited Buzz didn't want to be something gross.  Bray is beyond excited to be a "night in shinning armour".
Ipad fun.  A moment far and few between....no fighting...
This chick gets me into more trouble...we went to try on costumes for an upcoming party.  I don't think I have laughed so much in a long time!  Don't you love the hats...it was yard sale day in the neighborhood.
I am not good at posing...you should see the ones I deleted....
This also snores and sleeps in bed with me...
Number 1 AGAIN for Cheer Off!  She rocked it !  I was so proud!  The boys all even behaved.  Guess we are cheering again next year.....
Mommy time.  Gotta love headbands.  Brady looks at my head and then asks me if he is that animal.  He also realized if he walked by the mirror he could see his picture.  Fibber is also a hoot...they both giggle every time they lie...if only that continued in real life.
This Sunday before church...that is the end of the camera on my phone.. I will try really hard to keep it up.  I didn't realize how much I miss this poor little blog of mine.  Maybe I will go back and catalog some of my finer moments from the last year... you know selling all the family room furniture....the golf cart drama....you know the regular life with the Kieps.  :)
