Winter Jam 2010

Let it be said that having 4 kids does not stop us from having a good time! Last night the Kiep and Glover families (that is 6 kids between us!) all met at the Gwinnett Arena for Winter Jam 2010. We met and got in line about 5 and were lucky enough to be one of few let in. We did not realize they had sold out and in fact over sold until we had walked the entire arena looking for seats and ended up back at the beginning. It was packed and there were still huge lines outside waiting to get in. We did finally find seats thanks to a wonderful arena employee. We ended up with 5 seats and we simply piled in. There were hundreds without seats so we felt really lucky. The little kids alternated sitting in assorted laps and with 5 bags of cotton candy and a tub of popcorn all was well! Brady was a bit overwhelmed but once we put his hat back on and he had dad's arms around him he drifted right off to sleep. He was quite a trooper, I was a proud momma! Eli and Abigail had their hands in the air dancing back and forth and Mary and Gracie were right behind them. It was really awesome to watch them sing and enjoy the christian music. The mood was positive and the people were all so polite. (ok...there were the two teens making out that Richard told to get a room but other than that....:) We finally left around 9:30. Brady, Eli, and Mary were almost asleep (not really sure how) and Tim bought me a t-shirt and cd on the way out so I could listen to my favorite band on the way home. :) Even Jack finally admitted he had an ok time. We had a great night out!
