Mary's Skate Country Party!

Ten mothers got together to host a 5th grade party! It was a blast! I now believe it is the best way to throw a party. We had the whole place to ourselves, each host invited 5 friends, we had cake, and raffled off gifts every 20 minutes. The kids had so much fun! It makes me want to go skating this summer just to see if I can still make it around that track!

Girls ready to skate! They started out just running their mouths. Eli on the other hand got his skates and got straight on the floor. He has only skated once. He fell over and over again but refused to give up. By 30 minutes into the party he was totally sweaty but making it around the floor like a champ.

Tim and I tried to help Ali. It was her first time and she was a nervous as me!

These are the hosts of the party and below is me and my hubby. He was such a good sport to help me chase Brady around, watch Eli, and teach Ali how to skate.

Bray gets all of Mary's friends wrapped around his finger. He begged this one to take him around the loop. Not the safest idea!

Overall AWESOME PARTY!!!!!

First and last of 2012..

First day of preschool.... Last day of preschool...

I should mention the 6 year old above was sent to time-out on Sunday and came out with a new hair cut. Man...it looks bad!

Kindergarten Field Day and Bray's EOY Picnic

To say Eli was excited about his first field day would be an understatement! He could hardly contain himself! I got to pop in during center time and brought my whole class for the relays. Of all my babies he is the most competitive by far.

We were also able to attend Bray's end of the year picnic. The grass was wet so we all ate inside. He was so excited to see Mary and Eli join him.

Mom and the boy with the Nutella face! I honestly don't know what we would do if Ms. Catherine had not introduced us to this amazing food last summer at the pool!

This is James. Bray talks about him ALL the time. James Gossling does this...James Gossling does that. I think I might start saying ...James Gossling wears underwear! Maybe that will work!!

Mrs. Nicole and my little man! She has been so wonderful for him. During preplanning when she called I gushed at how he was my best behaved child and how she had no worries....well he made it his mission to prove me wrong. The boy spent a good amount of time in the "thinking chair" this year! I am going to say it is totally not my fault...he must have been bored since Mary Jane taught him the entire curriculum last year. :) The learning stuff is so very true but as for bored...well he was just naughty. :) I wish Mrs. Nicole would loop just like me!

The Walk...

The tradition at Dacula is a 5th grade walk. It has been done all 9 years I have been here. Today was the second time that one of my children passed me while tears streamed down my face.

This picture is for my filing cabinet. I hate that I have pictures of my friends and not their smiling faces by my side. Brittany and Lori will be missed but forever take their places beside Catherine and Amy.
